Military Sales & Service Co. · Dallas, TX · Est. 1965

Sixty years in one channel teaches you things a generalist never learns.

The U.S. military retail exchange system is a $10 billion-plus channel inside a nearly $20 billion military resale system: five distinct retail entities, each with its own rules of engagement, systems, policies, and geographic footprint — and no margin for guesswork. For sixty years, Military Sales & Service has been the force multiplier for more than 100 of the world's leading consumer brands that trust us to maximize their business here — sales, marketing, advisory, and end-to-end channel management. It's the only channel we work.

01 — WHO WE ARE

We picked one market. Then we spent six decades getting unreasonably good at it.

Most sales and service firms spread themselves across every retail channel they can reach. MSS made the opposite bet in 1965: serve the military exchange retailers exclusively, and build deeper relationships, better data, and more service hours in those stores than anyone else. No commissary business. No civilian retail. No divided attention.

That bet compounds. Today no competitor has more service hours in exchange facilities, our headquarters sits one mile from AAFES headquarters in Dallas, and our second office is a few blocks from NEXCOM in Virginia Beach. When the channel is all you do, you're simply closer to it — physically, personally, and analytically.

And because we work on commission, our incentives are exactly yours: MSS gets paid when your product sells. That alignment is why so many of our client relationships are measured in decades — clients don't treat us like a vendor, because we operate like an extension of their team.

And beneath the business case sits a simpler fact we never lose sight of: the customers at the end of this channel are military families, and the earnings of these retailers flow back into their quality of life. Serving them well is work worth doing well.

02 — The Market

Five retailers. Tens of millions of shoppers. One way in.

The U.S. military exchange channel sells more than $10 billion a year (per the American Logistics Association) — 12 million+ eligible brick-and-mortar shoppers plus 30 million+ eligible online shoppers, active-duty members, dependents, and veterans — across 3,000+ outlets worldwide, with about 150 core doors driving the volume. It's self-funded, insular, and insulated to external advertising. For a brand owner, that means one thing: this revenue is purely incremental, and it is not accessible in any other manner.
