Brands
The companies we keep.
The client brands MSS serves in the exchange channel — roughly 100 clients and the brand families they own or license, spanning nearly every department the retailers operate.
Consumer Electronics & Gaming
A widget is not a widget here. Product cycles turn over in months, not years — a spec sheet that wins the planogram today can be obsolete by the next reset. Pricing is tracked constantly against MAP, true street pricing, and the competitive set. The assortment has to flex fast around new console launches, new phone cycles, and category shifts no one saw coming two quarters out. Winning this category takes people who live in the spec sheets, not just the sales reports.

Fragrance & Beauty
Prestige beauty and fragrance have to win twice - on the product and on the presentation in store. The scent has to land and the formula has to deliver, but the counter has to earn the price on the ticket, which makes the talent standing there as important as the assortment behind it. Every house sits somewhere different on the basic-to-promotional spectrum - from never-discount at one end to deal-driven at the other - and that distinction drives everything downstream: planogram execution, adherence to brand guides, visual standards, how the brand shows up on the floor. Getting testers, signage, sampling, and event timing right through the key demand periods is as much our job as helping buyers and brand owners land the assortment.

Apparel & Footwear
Apparel is bought months before it's worn. Floor sets are locked to seasonal transition dates, size curves have to match the base population closely, and a missed buy window doesn't come back until next year — it just turns into a markdown. Running this category well means planning a full season ahead while still reacting to what's actually selling this week.

Accessories
Accessories benefit from cross-merchandising — eyewear, watches, and handbags accentuate the total look, and offer designer prestige at an attainable cost. Front of department displays and seasonal newness drive consumer interest, and we build beautiful displays like those shown herein every day around the world.

Home & Outdoor Living
Home goods win on breadth and gifting calendars, not any single hero SKU — a portfolio like this can run thousands of items across candles, cookware, and outdoor gear, each with its own seasonal peak. Space planning is the real skill: fitting that much assortment into a finite footprint while keeping the giftable items front and center exactly when shoppers are buying gifts.

Spirits & Nicotine
Spirits and Nicotine are among the most regulated categories on the retail floor — age verification, Class Six-specific rules, and local price modeling all apply. Allocation adds another wrinkle: limited releases move on relationships and timing, not just an order form, and tasting events are what turn a bottle on a shelf into a bottle a shopper remembers. Nicotine sampling or local events are not allowed under DoD regulations — compliant merchandising is critical, and product and price visibility is key.

Convenience & Consumables
Convenience runs on velocity — this is Express, Mini-Mart, and gas-station traffic; high-frequency and repetitive, where buying decisions often impulsively occur at the cash register. Front-of-store placement and high product and price visibility matters most to make the sale.

Tactical / Outdoor / Sporting
This shopper reads the spec sheet before they read the price tag. Ballistic ratings, durability certifications, and load-bearing specs are part of the sale, not fine print — and a military-installation customer is often more technically literate about this gear than a typical retail buyer. Credibility here is earned with real certifications, not marketing language.

Baby & Juvenile
Nothing in the store gets researched harder before purchase — safety certification and compliance aren't a checkbox here, they're the entire trust proposition. Parents shopping this category read labels, compare crash ratings, and buy on reputation, so getting product information, recalls, and safety signage exactly right matters more than in almost any other department.

Stationery & Writing
Stationery is a volume game tied to a hard calendar — back-to-school and back-to-base drive a huge share of annual velocity in a short window, and installations buy in bulk for offices and schools on top of individual shoppers. Low unit price, high unit count: the win is having the right items in stock exactly when that seasonal window opens, not after.
